About Jess

Instructor

Jessica’s movement journey began as a dancer. Pilates played a crucial role in her recovery from two hip surgeries during her dance career, which ultimately led her to discover a deep passion for teaching movement.

She is committed to her own movement practice and loves learning alongside other instructors and practitioners. Jessica blends together her training to help you rediscover the rhythm and fluidity of your body. Whether you're exploring new movement possibilities, recovering from injury, managing chronic pain, or letting go of movement patterns that no longer serve you, she creates a space for you to build awareness, capacity, and strength. Her approach helps you to embody movement quality and integrate lasting change that extends beyond your time at the studio.

  • Jessica holds a Bachelor of Science in Movement Science and Exercise Promotion from the University of Illinois at Chicago and completed a 500-hour Comprehensive Pilates Teacher Training through Pilates Sports Center. Her continuing education includes training in knee and hip mechanics, prenatal and postnatal Pilates, Pilates for scoliosis, The Pink Ribbon Program, Z-Health, somatic techniques through NSI, the MELT Method, Oov, CoreAlign, and MOTR. She is currently completing her Clinical Massage Therapy program at Soma Institute.
